Sectors - Data Centre Energy
Innovacom’s energy knowledge and expertise is focussed on the Data Centre sector. Data centres are substantial power users and energy efficiencies gained in either the cooling infrastructure or the IT infrastructure can result in sizeable energy savings.
Most current data centre energy initiatives focus on the cooling infrastructure, where the approach to increasing energy efficiency is well defined and understood. Innovacom recognises that the long-term challenge lies in reducing the energy consumption of the IT infrastructure.
